With so much pressure to get our children inoculated against the H1N1 Flu vaccine, what are the risks? Please, be informed as to the dangers of developing autism or worse with this vaccine. Dr. Oz and countless other physicians are not getting their own children inoculated! (My neighbor, a wonderful woman in her 50's is an RN and was forced to get the shot - she almost instantly became permanently deaf.)

Autism and Other Dangers With H1N1 Vaccine

Shannon, I'm looking forward to reading the responses you get to this post. My son's pediatric rheumatologist is on faculty at Columbia University Medical School in NYC. He advised me last month to NOT have my son receive the H1N1 vaccine. He did encourage me to get him vaccinated for the regular influenza. While my son has an undiagnosed chronic inflammatory condition, the doctor explained that he is advising all his patients and their families to wait to see how the first round of 20,000 or so recipients (including him and his staff)fair before getting it. I thought that was interesting since ABC News was running several pro-H1N1 vaccine segments that week in support of the CDC's testing process and statements of safety. Also, does anyone know what relationship, if any, there is between the swine flu epidemic and propaganda from 1976 and the current "national health emergency?" Here is an old clip from 60 Minutes that exposes the problems brought about by the '76 swine flu vaccines and the campaign to promote the vaccines. dailymotion.com/video/x9mh9f_swine-flu-1976-propaganda_webcam

Hi Shannon,

There is a lot of media coverage on H1N1 to be sure. From the news reports it sounds like tens of thousands of people will be getting the vaccine every week. I find that to be a bit scary.

With so much talk about getting vaccinated - why are more reports suggesting we weight out the risks? From my own research, I have found that H1N1 may not be much more than a bad case of the flu for most people who get it. Unless there's an underlying medical condition, the odds are it will not cause serious problems.

My opinion on any kind of flu vaccine, for my son, is that it's out of the question.
