BellaOnline Forums TV and Movies Drama TV Did you see "V" The Series on ABC?

I watched the first episode of this series last night and have a rather ho-hum feeling about it. I was a fan of the original 80s series with Mark Singer and Robert Englund (Yeah he went on to be Freddy Krueger) and that show was really great. I loved it!

Maybe that's why I'm kind of unexcited about this new series. Anyone else see the show? What do you think?

I am excited to watch the new one. I loved the original, but I think it didn't wear well. I found a used copy of the old V on tape and introduced my husband to it. He didn't think it was all that good. I still loved it, but i think it is because I had such fond memories of it when it came out. The ideas were very fresh and new at the time.

I will be interested to see where they go with the new series, and I am glad Morenna has landed such a juicy role - it makes me happy when the actors from Firefly get decent work.

I saw the premiere. I didn't like it that much but I don't enjoy science fiction so I was probably biased going into it

I watched it. It is very boring....
