If you knew you were going to be stranded on a desert island and could have only one self-development book, which one would it be?

Honestly, while I love learning from others, I have a lifetime of their words in my head. I need a lifetime to get my words onto paper. I would go crazy pretty quickly if I could not write.

Tom Hanks might not have found himself talking to a volleyball if he had a journal.

That said, I can only imagine the writer's anxiety of holding in my hands what might be the last paper I would ever see.

I'd take one of the early classic self development books like Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
