Have you ever raced in the NYC marathon? Have you watched a friend or family member run? Send us your tips on how you prepped for the race, how far you travelled to be there, where the best viewing locations are, and what to bring!

The New York City Marathon annually attracts more than 40,000 runners from around the world and 2,000,000 spectators who line the sidewalks of the five boroughs of New York City.

It's too late to register to run in the 2009 race, but you can register for the 2010 race as of November 2, 2009.

Of course, you can always watch it from the sidewalks along the route or, better yet, from a sidewalk cafe! The race will be televised on WNBC New York for those of you who live in or are visiting the area.
