sorry, forgot to add that on. Ribbon takes ages to get, you need 99 Dark Matter!! I've only got one cos you get 99 Dark Matter for capturing something. I've managed to get 78 together by killing lots of One-Eye's (cos they are easy to kill and weak). Try taking them on

Thank you. I have received lots and lots of darkmatter collecting all the spheres to rebuild the grid. I cleared every node off the sphere grid and rebuilt it using nothing but +4 attributes. I took a long time to get all the Magic, Luck and Fortune spheres but now everyone is at 255 all the way around except for Auron, Wakka, Lulu and Kimahri who only have about 100 luck as of this point.

I have been building my own super weapons with the Dark Matter. 60 for the Break Damage limit which 6 of my characters have now.

I guess I need to save them for Ribbon though. Thanks for the tip.

no worries. I've actually been thinking about making new super weapons, cos it would be useful if they all had One MP Cost and probably Magic Booster too (although its not really needed with 255 Magic). But I don't think I'll bother cos of the 60 Dark Matter. One MP cost is all I wanted to make them for, so I'll just stick to having Lulu and Yuna in the party with it and Tidus or Wakka for their overdrives.

Yeah that was my plan too. Break Damage limit, One MP Cost, Magic Booster, and Triple Overdrive for the weapons and for the armor Break HP Limit, Break MP Limit, Master Thief and Ribbon if I can get it if not I was thinking MP Stroll or Auto-Regen.

However the weapons I made myself aren't quite as powerful as the ultimate weapons the game supplies although they don't have the limitations either ie. When Tidus's HP are low he does much less damage with the Calborg (sp).

I'll probably stick with the normal ultimate weapons, I can't be bothered to get all that extra Dark Matter. I'm not at all sure about the Armour though. Personally, I now don't think that you need Break MP Limit. I used to think it was a good idea, but I don't seem to need it that much, and Lulu and Yuna both have the 1 MP cost ability. At the moment, I think it should be Break HP Limit, Auto-Pheonix, Auto-Haste and then either Ribbon or Auto-Med. I'm undecided between Ribbon and Auto-Med, cos Auto-Med will cure everything (so long as you have the items), but Ribbon means you don't have to use up all those items. Any, its all down personal preference really.

Hey sounds like fun NOT ... dam its so long trying to get good weapond customized IE:
Overdrive --> AP and Triple Overdrive abilities
I have A break HP limit as well as auto-pheonix and HP+30% and Auto-MEd , i thought about haste but hastega is just to easy...

As far as the weapons the ultimate are called so for a reason <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

And well now its just a matter of lvling up its just brutal though because only 4 of my chars take the 99,999 from the Don Tonberry and the other especially Yuna only takles like 10000 which sucks [censored] ... and would mean shed have to kill another 400 enemies herself <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" /> not impressive ... but if someone has a quiker way of taking more damage from the Don let me know

Well drat, I collected 99 Dark Matter and still never got an option to customize with Ribbon. I think you are right though, Break HP LImit, Auto-Med and Auto-Phoenix are good. I like the idea of having the HP +30% because I have about 50,000 HP and that would take me to 65,000 and I can still put about 50 more HP spheres on the grid giving me roughly 65.000 HP and with the HP +30% it would take me to about 85,000 HP. As for Break MP Limit, since I did create the new super weapons I have One MP Cost and Magic Booster for all my characters although I do not really plan to use these new weapons in a pinch I can substitute them for the ultimate weapons when low on MP or I can just use a Turbo Ether. I agree with Jogging, Hastaga is easy enough to cast that there is no reason to have it.

I found the last item that I was missing finally too. Maybe some of you already know this but I didn't, you can steal a Tetra Element from the Master Tonberry in the Omega Ruins. I got the Master Thief option for one of my characters but I realized that it wasn't something I really wanted on my super armor.

Jogging this is a timely process but, if you want to get Yuna's kills up for Don Tonberry, I would fight around the Calm Plains and use Ultima. Casting it 100 times will kill roughly 250 fiends. You can also use it in the Omega Ruins but you don't run into as many large groupings of creatures but the mimic is there and you can get a lot of Gil at the same time but it becomes a longer process of getting Yuna's kills up.

I have a really easy way of getting 99 sphere lvls for any character, but in order to do it, you need a character with really low HP and they need to have killed lots of enemies (so Karma does more damage). you can sort that out by having them kill loads of dingos over and over. then, basically have that person in the party with stoic overdrive mode. have the other people in the party with comrade overdrive. everyone should have weapons with triple AP, overdrive->AP and triple overdrive. attack Don Tonberry with the person on low HP, and they should get hit with Karma for 50k +. then have one of the other people revive them, and finally have the thrid person flee. I am in the middle of making the sphere grid, and my Rikku I've left with just 360 HP (deleted all her HP+200 spheres). When I do this, everyone gets at least 2mil AP, so basically around 200 S.Lvl and so easily your max 99 S.Lvls.

About the Auto-Haste idea on armour. I basically use it cos it saves having to cast Hastega, even though it is really easy to do. plus I don't think you need HP +30%, so I'd rather put something else there. Auto-Protect is also really useful as is Auto-Shell, especially when you fight high lvl enemies. but of course, HP+30% makes your HP look good <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> . I'm not entirely sure about Auto-Med, I'll probs stick with Ribbon, cos I've already put it on Tidus's armour, but I think I'll then put Auto-Med on everyone else.
