Does everyone remember the movie Twister when they're all sitting around the table discussing tornados? After all this discussion the one lady asks, So is there an F5 tornado? Everyone gets real quiet and looks at her as if she's broken some sacred law. I feel like I'm asking that question here because I haven't seen anything about it.

Does anyone have a clue how to beat Nemesis?

Even the Magus Sisters fall to him very quickly and he tears through the rest of my Aeons. Has anyone discovered a clever way of defeating him?

I have not quite finished making all of my character's super weapons and armor (Weapon - Break HP Limit, One Magic Cost, Magic Booster, Triple Overdrive Armor - Break HP Limit, Break MP Limit, Master Thief, MP Stroll).

Also what does the upgrade Ribbon do for Armor?

Im still working on lvling up to take the bastard on , i get ripped apart too..

Ribbon like in other FF series = prevention of all status ailment, except doom i think...

If u want 2 use Aeons I then u could better use the original celestial weapons, cuz some of them allow Aeons 2 do break damage limit (like Nirvana allows Valefor to do break damage limit)
but my normall characters r way stronger than my Aeons... I mean my Tidus has about 240 strength now and does 99,999 damage with every attack... just figure out how much that is with Blitzace <img src="/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

only I haven't captured enough monsters yet so I dunno how good Nemesis is I'm going for Penecea first anyway

I can tell you this Gerbil, I didn't get Nemesis until I had captured 10 of every fiend in all areas and then beat all of the other original monsters. All I know is that his Ultima attack does 15,000 damage to my characters who had 200 magic defense at the time.

Yes I got the special weapons except for Wakkas (don't like blitzball too much).

My plan to defeat Nemesis is to clear the entire sphere grid and rebuild it using only +4 attribute spheres, +300 HP and +40 MP Spheres. In addition to that I need to get the armor upgraded so that I can Break MP Limit and HP Limit. Thus far I have rebuilt all the strength, Agility, Evasion and Accuracy giving all my characters the max 255 for those.

I hope this works because I don't know what else to do if it doesn't.

oh yea that stat maxing when u've done it all then your characters r so called UBER lol I read it sumwhere...

anywayz... blitzball is easy but just boring but it helps a lot if u got Wakka with break damage and his attack reels.

Well I maxed out my stats, Tidus, Rikku and Yuna all have 255 of all stats. However I am still unable to beat Nemesis. So now I am going to build some armor to Break HP Limit, MP Limit.

How do I get ribbon? I have a version of the game that does not have the dark aeons. I have at least one of every item with the exception of maybe one. There is still one space available on the item sheet. I don't know if there is still an item I haven't found or if my version doesn't have Ribbon?

AND HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!!! Nemesis has a spell call armeggedon. It did 99,999 damage to all the Magus Sisters. Cool looking spell though to be so uterly defeated by it. lol

So I am to assume that the lack replies means that only Jogging and I have attempted this monstrosity? Has anyone ever defeated such a being as this?

The guy that I'm borrowing FFX from has defeated Nemisis. He had max stats of course. You don't need Break MP Limit, cos 999 is enough, and its better to use the spaces on the grid sphere for HP +300 spheres. Ribbon proves handy in general for me. It prevents all status effects expect for Zombie and Doom (I think, I'm not sure). You're best bet is to have a party of Wakka, Tidus and Rikku. Charge all their overdrives before you go in. Having armour with Auto-Haste will also help a lot. Have Rikku use her Mix overdrive and mix a Healing Spring with a Gambler's Spirit for Hyper Mighty G (this puts Auto-life on everyone). Alternatively, you could have Yuna or Lulu instead of Rikku and cast Auto-Life on everyone with them. Then just continually attack Nemesis with Attack Reels (Wakka) and Blitz Ace (Tidus). I'm not sure how quickly Nemesis attacks cos I'm not sure yet, but I'm guessing Stoic overdrive would work best. (maybe have rikku/lulu/yuna use Sentinentel to give Tidus or Wakka overdrives quicker)

Thank you Darkside Dragon. I will give that a try. Never thought to use Auto-haste on the armor.

I don't know how to equip armor with Ribbon. It doesn't show up on my customization list.
