Letting go forever
Of a loved one like a parent,
Very often
Ends happiness, we think.
Surviving death
Usually means
Revival of the soul.
Viewing your mother's death
Is the hardest thing of all.
View of life and its gentle passing
Evokes thoughts of eternity,
Strengthing the will to survive.
Dying in peace, with God's promises
Evens out the sadness we know
And shows us that LOVE survives after
The last gentle breath is taken.
Heaven opens up and receives our loved one.
