I love crafts and the one thing I love is the local arts and crafts community. It is a 8-mile loop of local artists and it is just amazing!!
I have been there 9 times in 12 years and i still haven't seen it all. My kids love it and so does my wallet. there are many options for lodging such as the typical hotel and motels- very reasonable pricing and then there are other options such as cabin rentals and plenty of family camp sites.
