'Speed Journaling' is a concept and an exercise I created to help those who want to journal start journaling ~ It also has been used to pull together a years worth of journaling into a book report type synopsis of your year.
Does anyone read their journals and then write a synopsis of what they read?
I have been doing that for each of my diaries. I read through the diary, taking notes of key things. I then print out those summary notes and put them in the front of the diary. That way later if I want to jump through to a certain incident that summary acts as a table of contents for me.

I rarely read back through my journals as in between the little pictures and daily stuff, there's a lot of [censored]!
I'm a single mum of two autistic boys 12 and 3, and a teenage daughter, my journal is my sanity where I can have a really good whinge without hurting anyone.
