I was taken off Cymbalta and put on Savella almost two months ago. I am asking my pain management doc's PA, this Friday, to switch me back. I am more depressed, and in more pain than I was on Cymbalta. Surely, it will work better for some, as we are all unique, but for me, I want to go back on Cymbalta. At least I wasn't as depressed, although there is MUCH more going on in my life now than there was prior to the switch. I'm presently on short term disability, and have Chronic Myofascial Pain, as well as Fibro, which typically go hand in hand anyway. Lots of myofascial trigger point release work has been taking place, both by manipulation via my physical therapist, and by injection via my Osteopath. I have to continue to think positive, as negative thoughts are the enemy. I will get better, although I AM a realist, and continue to try to accept that fact that I will have to find a way to live with both diagnoses my entire life. Just thought I'd respond to your question...
