asasdasd - I feel your pain. I myself had a hysteroscopy, D&C and Novasure procedure on 9-08 as an outpatient (hospital). I arrived at 7am and was on my way home at 9:30am. I honestly had no pain. I slept the entire day of the procedure and only took the pain meds as a precaution that day. I am absolutely thrilled with my results. I bled almost daily prior to my ablation. I was exhausted, anemic and just plain frustrated! They do say that the younger you are when you have the procedure the higher the possibility that the uterine lining can regenerate. I am 44 and if my period were to return I would be heart broken, lol! I have my life back without worrying everyday about bleeding. Its been fantastic! I realize everyone is different but I would recommend Novasure to anyone!

My body still goes through the symptoms of a period monthly without the bleeding. I still have some mild cramping and my breast are tender so as far as taking care of your pain I can't answer that. I really wish I could.

I hope this helps you. smile

I almost put off my procedure because of all of the bad stuff I read, but decided to go through with it. I'm glad I did. It was simple. I had it done outpatient at the hospital, procedure was at 10:00 and I was home by noon. I never had to take any pain meds, not even ibuprofen. The day I should have started my period I had some slight cramping, but that was it, no bleeding!

Has anyone experienced what seems to be urine leakage after Novasure. It's been a week since my procedure and everything is good except for this leakage.

OMG!!!! Please say it isn't so. I didn't do much research on this and just took my Doctor's word for the fact it would be better for me. My cycles were heavy on day 2& 3 and came every 24 days which was a pain, but no cramps, lots of bad attitude and sex I could have and loved. I just had the procedure 9/16/2010 and haven't had the sex yet.... Better be able to .

Hello, I had the Noava Sure procedure done in Dec. 2009. I did not have a period or cramps for 6 months afterwards. July of 2010 I started cramping very bad as I had in the past and by the third day of severe cramping I started my period. It lasted 3 days with very heavy bleeding. The following month experienced severe cramps again for 3-4 days and again started my period not as heavy as previous month and lasted 2 days. Not sure what to think at this point but hope the periods and cramps go away this month. It's not the bleeding I mind so much as the severe cramping. I have to add; my procedure went very well, I had the procedure on Friday and was back to work on Monday. Did have some cramping just after the procedure, took some pain pills prescribed by my doctor and before I left the cramps had gone away.
