This is a bug in the game that has been resolved by the latest patch. Click the Update menu item. Your computer will connect to the Internet and download the patch. The size of the patch depends on your current version of the game. It may take as long as an hour, be sure to turn call waiting off if you have dialup internet access.

Thanks mate! About the connection, that no problem for me, I have cable <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> . Mjin NWN version is 1.24.6736 English, I thought that was the newest one. Oh well, I will try to update, and thanks again!

Yes. The Update button will always download and apply the latest version. However, I have seen the Update button fail to work properly. If you see red warning text, let me know.

I patched nwn manually to 1.27, but the Sir Karathis still isn't there, not at day, nor at night! <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

I'm afraid I have some bad news. The engine is patched but there is no patch for your saved game. It is possible that you might be able to load a game from just before that quest and continue from there. But I suspect you will have to begin the game over from Chapter 2 module. To do this, export the character from your saved game and begin a new game using the Chapter 2 module.
