The Expressive Crested Parrot the Cockatoo

I have never had a cockatoo but I did have two sun conures. Had them for about 20 years. They had been hand-fed. Cutest little things and they were so sweet. I got them at a breeder outside of Sacramento. I would like to hear from some Cockatoo people they sound pretty sweet too and I would love another bird.

Cockatoos have been known as the velcro bird. They love, LOVE to be with their flock/their people. They are loud...I mean really LOUD and need a huge amount of attention.

I remember the loud! I lived in the country - a neighbor had a cockatoo. They never let it out of the cage. It was sad. I could hear that bird screech all day. I did what I could.
