What is the hardest part of parenting a child with ADD/ADHD?

Please feel free to share your thoughts on being an ADD/ADHD parent.
What is the hardest part of parenting a child with ADD/ADHD? Please feel free to share your thoughts on being an ADD/ADHD parent.
hi............. They generally lack social skills, but they may have a high IQ and be very bright. But ADHD and ADD are often confused with laziness. They are very different things, but may appear similar. I have ADD, and it is not just difficult, but impossible to keep my mind on something that doesn't interest me when I'm not on my medecine. However, when I take my medicine, I become a workaholic. However, I lose my creativity, and it is hard to have fun or have a casual conversation with someone. thanks

I am sorry that I completely missed your post in September. May I blame it on ADD? ;-)

Thanks for giving me feedback. The lack of focus vs. lack of creativity is such a difficult problem. Not being able to converse is something that people without ADD have a tough time understanding.

I have a new article about the biological basis of ADD. It tells a bit about what the latest research says. Please let me know what you think about ADD is a Biological Disorder.

Have a blessed day,
Connie
