Welcome Thomma! I admire your positive attitude, I fully agree with what you believe about a meaningful life without children and the fact that you have no regrets gives me so much courage!

Hi and Welcome! a novelist! I have been working on a few books over the years. Haven't wrote anything I am proud enough to publish yet. I love literature. Love, love, love it! what is your genre? (dont worry, I wont ask you to read my stuff! LOL)

Hi, Lotte! Thank you so much. When I was younger, it always helped reassure me to hear from women in their forties who had no regrets. Glad I can help you in that way, too! :) Marie, how neat that you're writing fiction! Good luck with it. I love literature, too. I have one novel out now, Mirror Blue (my debut novel), and its genre is "literary love story." Thanks, Faeryqueen! Mirror Blue is a literary love story, and my heroine is childfree. :) My novel-in-progress falls into the literary love story category, too, though its characters are younger and it's more of a coming-of-age story. I appreciate the warm welcome!
[color:#6666CC] I knew from a young age that I didn't want kids, but so many people tell us childfree "you'll regret it" that there was a small part of me that wondered. But the way I handled that was I realized that I would rather regret NOT having a child than regret having had one.
Thank you for writting this. You just made my day.
