Have you read about this? How insane is this girl, suing her college for $70,000 because she can't find a job?

If you haven't read the article, here is a link:

www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local-beat/College-Grad-Cant-Find-Job-Wants--Back-52304162.html

As someone who has been unemployed for 2 months and is actively seeking a new job. I'm shocked that this girl expects things in life to be handed to her. It's an incredibly sad day when people start lawsuits like this one!

Unfortunately it appears that frivolous lawsuits inundate the news and the court systems. The lawyer who sued a dry cleaners for 54 million because they lost a pair of pants put the company out of business as they had trouble paying the legal expenses, the woman who sued a fast food chain because she spilled hot coffee on herself, the people who put dead animal parts in their food and sue, the girl who is suing college because she cannot find a job.

It's ridiculous and these people should face severe punitive penalties for the lawsuits and maybe they will stop or at least slow down.

I'd be interested to know what kind of jobs she had applied for, if I were her lawyer or the college's lawyer.

There is also the known problem of a global recession which although it is beginning to ease in some countries, is still biting hard in many areas. I honestly don't see how she can blame her college for her inability to find a job.

Honestly, I think the girl is shooting herself in the foot. She has gotten so much negative publicity for this -- who will want to hire her now?? She's only making it worse...
