I am crocheting a baby sweater and my point of connection(the sleeve) is going off to the right. I am connecting at the top of the chain three and my next double is right next to the chain three. I don't know why it is not straight. Please help. My email is wadeboehmer@aol.com.

Without more information I can only take a guess but perhaps you should skip the stitch right next to the chain. In some patterns I have had to do that to get the right count. Perhaps someone else, someone that does sweaters, can give better insight. smile Good Luck

thanks, I will try that. It's funny how you kind of have to fudge things to get them to look right and its not the "rule".
