Some time ago I saw kits to make paper jewelry, I think it was on Dick Blick's craft site and on Plaid, it's called Paper Couture. Does anyone know how to create this jewelry without buying a kit? How could you make the paper peices solid enough so it wouldn't bend?
i have made paper beads--glued with white school glue--sprayed with a clear hi gloss spray paint--and they have held up for several years---here is a link to photos of them-- i'll need some help getting a link in here i think! not sure how it works--- Craftsters Picture Hosting - Photos of Paper Beads

Thanks, Lizard4me, for the info! I went ahead and activated your link. I think forum won't permit people to activate their own links until they've posted a certain number of times. No problem, though. Thanks, again!
I've seen some really good paper jewelry! I had a craft shop a while back and had a few jewelry makers and one who loved to make paper jewelry. It was quite popular and I was amazed just how much of it sold!!
I've seen a few articles on the making of it and from what I recall, the ones that were presented in the most recent magazine showed thin pieces of paper rolled until it resembled a thick bead. I am not sure if this helps or not but I am pretty sure you could google for certain unanswered questions if needed. However, I am sure there are many experienced and talented crafters here!
Best of luck to you!
