Hi everyone! My son was diagnosed with autism and sensory processing disorder at the age of 12 months. Very early to be diagnosed but his symptoms were so obvious that his psychologist was confident in diagnosing him. Since he started therapy he has gotten a lot better. He has stopped a lot of the typical symptoms but has started new ones. My son will be 3 in a few weeks. I am curious if anyone's kiddos still don't talk or chew any food? My son does not chew any food. He only tongue smashes. He is stuck on yogurts, puddings, smashed food. If he notices any type of texture he will gag then vomit. Any suggestions as to getting him to eat? He will not put anything in his mouth unless he knows what it is. He will look at the spoon and if he doesn't know what it is he will not eat it. He refuses a sippy cup or straw. He is still on a bottle. He will look and if it isn't his bottle he will throw it. He does not talk so he can not tell me anything
