Are you able to recognize the spirituality in other's even though their faith/belief is not the same as yours?

Hi Phyillis, I think we can see others' faith, because they simply care.
They exhibit things that show you that they are peaceful and gentle, and easy to get along with.

Hi Mary,

I think that spirituality in a person can be recognized, regardless of what their faith is or our own faith. A spiritual person just seems to have an inner glow and spiritual health that shines through.

I think above all a "spiritual" person cares. Their spirit is such that they cannot go through life seeing and feeling others suffer without aching to do something about it.

Some of these might be described as clairvoyant, others as empathic, some as just good people. But they cannot act oblivious to pain. It hurts them as much as others.

I believe that too. I give a little bit to just about everything I can, whether it is time or money.

I think some people are givers, but not always spirital. But if you can combine the two together, this person finds compassion in the smallest of things.

P.S. I do think that PETA took the fly thing a tiny bit too far though!

Ah - but sime people are "givers" in the hopes that they will get something back.

They feel that "karma" owes them. (Definitely abusing the meaning of the word Karma).

We've all seen the commercials, the guy puts a quarter in a meter, and the girl sees it, so she keeps another guys from walking out in front of a bus, so he holds the door for a woman, etc, etc until it gets back to the quarter guy - and someone offers to hold an umbrella over his head.

There tends to be something that you can't describe in words about a spiritual person, the way they talk, move and act is different from others. A faith or belief's that one taken has no bearing on the spirits that guide one life as at the end of the day we are all created by the same material and nutured by nature.
