I reviewed a product that blends in newgrowth and allows you to extend the time between hair color touch-ups.

It is called Mimic Color

Would this work on dyed blonde with natural dark roots, or just grey roots?

Mimic Color only adds color so it cannot cause hair to appear lighter. If the dark roots are not really dark, the color added can help to blend them with a slightly lighter tinted color.
