I was just in LA last week and this new boutique was raving about Carita's Purfying Mask. I thought that it would be weird, I mean a mask for your hair? I don't think i've ever seen that before. IDK, maybe that was just me, but anyway, I tried a sample when I got home and it was really cool! It gave me some serious results! This mask cleans hair and eliminates impurities, rebalances oily to combination hair, leaves hair with a light and silky texture and it boosts shine and volume. I am Lovin' it!

Hello,

Hair masks are quite common. I've been using them for almost 3 years ever since I got my first perm. They were recommended by my hairdresser because of the perm and it's unavoidable damage that it inflicted. The hair mask was for very dry and very damaged hair. Best advice is to use it often at first and decrease over time. I usually use a bottle to mix it with water, because sometimes the hair mask can be so concentrated that it makes your hair fall flat and becomes limp due to excess conditioning.

Guess what? I give massages and reiki. More info here!

The name mask or masque is very popular for hair products now. It is used for products we have used before such as deep conditioners or in this case clarifying cleanser. They just give it a new name to make it sound new. It's the new buzz word in the hair business.

i find that if you mix some organic honey with equal amounts of olive oil and leave it on for 20 mins before you shampoo it gives your hair a real treat (plus your hair will smell like yummy honey)!

I like hair masks and make sure to use one at least once a week. I always deep condition and the best I have found is Klorane.
