I'm 49 years old and Last month two nights apart I had two dreams, the same thing, in the dream I woke up and my arm was feeling numb like I was having a stroke. Very vivid. Then about a week later I had the dream again. In the dream I woke up with the same feelings only this time I was having a stroke and tried waking my fiance, tried telling him what was wrong but no words would come out of my mouth. I tried screaming, but nothing. I awoke in a cold sweat. Thank goodness, I haven't had a stroke (yet, knock on wood) nor have I had the dream again since last month.

This could very possibly be symbolic of your issues with your fiance's son (thread in Step Parenting). The numbness could be symbolic of the fact that you have tried to help out and make the situation better but your efforts are not accomplishing anything - so, you have been "numbed" as far as having any say in the issues with the son. The fact that you could not say anything (words would not come out) to your fiance could be symbolic of the fact that he has told you to "stay out of it", that it is "none of your business" (quoted words are your words from the other post).

Can you see a connection with your dream and your issues with the son and your fiance's attitude about the issues?

To be on the safe side, it would not hurt for you to see your doctor and describe these symptoms. It never hurts to be cautious when it comes to your health.

I thought the same thing too. Just wanted a second opinion. Thanks so much. And yes, I still have my farm too, but the house is so old, and bad shape, it will require the house to be tore down and rebuild. It's been in my family for over 100 years. I hate to tear it down, just like I hate to break this relationship up but sometimes you got to do what you got to do. I had a long talk with one of our good friends last night (who's like a brother to me) and he has said the same thing. He has even tried talking with my fiance, they are good friends too, and he says that my fiance just probably won't ever get the big picture, no matter how much he loves me. So lots to think about. But again thank you so much. Have a Safe and Happy 4th of July.

It would be a shame to tear down the old farm. A farm/house over 100 years old is considered historical and it could be put on the historical society guide. You should check with you local historical society about that. To restore, if possible, would be so much better than tearing it down and losing a historical site.
