Hi all, Hope someone can help me with this one.

A week ago, I was in bed sleeping. I had the fan on. About 3am, I woke up hot (been hot here)and found the fan (stand up fan) turned off. Now I know I had that fan turned on before heading off to bed. Saturday night, I was talking to a friend from high school. Again, the fan went off. I saw it this time. Then later while talking on the phone, I heard something like a loud crash but couldnt figure out where it came from. Kinda scared me because it was at night. I dared not to go outside to see what was going on, so I let it go. The next night before I went to bed, I noticed the glass on my picture frame (picture of my deceased husband and I on our wedding day) was on the floor unbroken. The frame was still on the night stand!. I have no idea how the glass got out of the frame and it explains that was the loud crash I heard saturday night while on the phone. I have hardwood floor. I immediatly called my friend I was talking to. She feels it was probably someone watching over me trying to get my attention.. duh-lol. I do believe it was a sign. I'm not going to say it was my hubby but apparently, someone is watching over me. It was wierd but comforting in a way if Im not just being crazy-lol.

Please let me know what some of you think. Would love to hear about it.

I have had similar events in my home. I do think someone maybe trying to communicate with you, or at the minimum get your attention.

Is anything major going on in your life right now? Life Changes, Decisions that need to be made on finances, career, etc.? Is this the first time something like this has happened?

The majority of such events for me are linked to big changes in my life. This causes a little blurring of the actual cause, as my stress could be causing the events, or my spirits could be trying to guide me in my decisions.

Think on all that's going on with you and when did this all start. It might yield some clues.

When my husband (of 8 months) passed away in 2005, it seems like I've been feeling his presence. I've had dreams of him too. But lately, I havent been feeling him so I wondered if maybe he was trying to get my attention to let me know hes still around. I dont know. Obviously, someone is around. Its nothing negitive. All of this stuff started after my hubby died but it was more stronger after he died. Our love was strong and bonded. He died suddenly. we were married for 8 months.

I was going to say it was your hubby, reinforcing his connection to you. I know when someone passes that isn't personally attached to me, but someone else, I can feel their presence when they are around. But the person who lost the departed individual can't see or feel the presence. It's like they are too sad or healing and sometimes even angry so their expectations are great as to what they will believe.

If after you've ruled out a momentary electric outage (just check the clocks on the stove or bedroom) or possible short in the fan, and even then, often when something happens like 1,2,3 (even though they could possibly be explained) it's the synchronicity that tells me when it's communication. Virtually everything can be explained to some extent, but when something puts us in a position to recieve or observe the uncanniness, it is synchronicity that is leading us to a more significant message.

What I did find wierd was that the picture of my hubby and I on our wedding day was still on the night stand just the way it has been. Didnt fall but the glass somehow ended up on the floor. I have hardwood floor and I believe the glass would've broke if it had fallen but it didnt. So, this I do believe someone was trying to get my attention. It happened while I was talking to my dear friend from high school. We were catching up on old times and laughing. We were talking about my hubby and I too so maybe my hubby was trying to say... Hey, I'm here hun-lol.

As far as the fans shutting off automatically, the power didnt go out. Clocks were not flashing. Everything was normal. This was just a wierd experience. I do remember talking to my hubby last week, praying for him. I did ask him for a sign to let me know hes around so maybe he answered my prayer or heard me :0).

He probably did. I believe when we think or talk of or with our loved ones, it does get their attention, no matter where they are, and draws them closer. My friend refers to this as "talking someone up," and it happened a few weeks ago to her.

She was talking with someone about a mutual friend neither of them had seen or heard from in several years. Later that evening she walked into a retuarant and there he sat!

Many years ago, I had a very dear friend serving overseas. One night, quite late, his picture fell to the floor, but did not break. Two days later he called to say he was back stateside. Coincedence, perhaps, but this 8x10 framed picture fell over 5 ft onto a hard floor with no damage to the frame or glass.

My husband's father passed when he was only 9. My husband assumed he would die young as his father had, and was not making any plans for our future, other than copious amounts of life insurance. For over a year I requested of my father-in-law, whom I never met, to visit with his son. He finally did visit in a dream and my husband's outlook changed completely.

If you have been feeling a sense of separation, maybe this cluster of events was meant to reassure you your husband is still very near, and will be for as long as you need him to be.

Sometimes it is difficult for the spirits of departed ones to communicate with us - so they find ways to get a message across and sometimes these messages are symbolic or mis-directed due to lack of ability to communicate. Not all spirits are like the ones on "Ghost Whisperer", where they can appear and say what they want. So, we often get confusing messages.

The fan going off may be that the noise was interfering in what your husband wanted to tell you. The glass from the picture frame may have been seen as a block to the picture and he wanted you to see the picture, not the glass. Maybe he could not see thru the glass and wanted to see the picture. He could have been telling you to not forget what you meant to each other.

I have told this story so many times, but, I will repeat it again. My sister's mother-in-law and her son (my sister's husband) did not believe in any afterlife or Heaven. Before she died, my brothein-law's mother told him: if I find out there is anything on the other side, I will find a way to let you know. About three months after she passed, a picture she had painted kept slipping katty-wompus on the wall. Every time my brother-in-law straightened it, it would slip again - so, he sat down under the picture on his chair and said, "forget it!" The picture then fell and hit him on the head. My sister said, "guess your mother is trying to tell you something."

Another thought is that the fan running is a "white light" noise. Often voices of spirits come thru white light noises and sometimes, more often than not, there are many voices. Turning off the fan would have helped the spirit, if it was your husband, to send thru only his voice.

I remember once when my stove fan was on, I kept hearing voices, several of them. I thought that the sounds from the apartment next to us were coming thru the fan duct. When I went next door to tell my neighbor about this, there was no one home - in fact there was no one home in the other four apartments either. I do not know where the voices were coming from, if not from the spirit world.

Both stories are really great! I can't tell people enough that though they may think of our departed's A coming through as remarkable, they never went away. Because our physical bodies disembark this journey, mean little to the Soul which has actually less limitation. Sometimes they do have to make a physical attempt in our physical world to get through.

I imagine a newly departed soul will have problems getting thru to us. It is like going to a new country and not knowing the language yet.
