I couldn't believe it when I heard, Michael Jackson dead at 50. My cousin called me from Georgia. She was driving when she heard that he'd passed. I turned to CNN. At the time, it said that he was in the hospital after going ino cardiac arrest. Then it was reported that he was in a coma.
I was hoping, but in my heart I knew that he was gone. With cardiac arrest, unlike a heart attack, all heart function stops. And if not dealt with within three minutes, the consequences are dire.
He will be missed. I am so glad that we have his music to remember.

I agree! So many hits, so many songs! I grew up with Michael Jackson! He was a great talent!
So many memories to his songs, it just takes you back!

Wow - a friend sent me a newsclip, but I thought it was a hoax. The world has lost a truly talented soul and someone who I believe was a true humanitarian - I remember he contributed to the creation of a burn unit at one time.
He'll be missed.

I am not mourning Michael's death for one minute, I am celebrating and thanking God for giving Michael the talents and the ability to share those talents with us. I will celebrate his life, accomplishments (wow - no one else will touch) Michael left us the music to use for the celebration. Remember, NEVER CAN SAY GOODBYE!!!
My all time favorite Michael songs were:
We Are The World (I still cry every time I hear it - amazing song and humanitarian effort)
Remember The Times (great video too)
The Way You Make Me Feel (great video too)
Prayers to the family especially those three sweet children.

I have a Napster To Go account, and yesterday I just played everything I could find from the Jackson 5, the Jacksons and Michael Jackson. They also have a tribute playlist on Napster's home page.

I love Thriller!
It is still so hard to believe that Michael Jackson is gone. So much talent, so unique, so much creativity....
There will never be another quite like him.
