Navigaar-
YOu can water your mini-herb garden with your ceramic watering cans!

Depending on how broken your cups are, you can see my article on tea cup candle craft! Easy and with a few supplies you can give a great gift ot keep for yourself.

Phyllis, a little vinget created on the buffet would be very sweet.

My mother is a quilter and has made lovely hangings. She is not doing it as much as she had at one time. She used to go to the craft shows, but in her area people are now just selling curb-side instead of going to a market, swap or craaft show.

Thank you for your interest in tea!

Helen- Taking a clue from Phyllis-she is right hang on to everything "old" they all may be worth something!

For the "Royal Albert" collection- these are made from fine bone china. Though they are still obtainable, they are from the years of 1934-1944- 3 piece sets are garnering about $85.00!

A old country rose pattern was a hand-painted design-today, though again many were made, but a great cond. tea cup w/saucer: no cracks, grazing, or chips in it are worth about $50.00!

So hang on to all those hand-me-downs, because not only are they worth a couple of gumballs, they represent a part of your personal legacy and your prsonal heirlooms that continue to be well sought after!

You're lucky!

Mary...you have so many wonderful replies to this subject! Feels like we're all getting together for tea time and chatting about the wall hangings that Phyllis is going to make (which sound sooo very pretty) while admiring all of our old china cups with small groupings of beautiful flowers and herbs all around us to enjoy....how very nice! smile

Yes Welcome all to the tea party! I'm just about to sit down for some chamolmile tea right now, turining in a bit earlier tonight- small headache- too much heat already it's getting to me!(Iwas crying-just a few short weeks ago it was too cold)I'll take the heat anyday!

Enjoy your evening ladies, have a cuppa (and a wee little snack-I'll never tell)(we have to treat ourselves for taking care of all around us, and then hopefully we can do this again tomorrow!

Sweet dreams!

Yes, for me it helps induce sleep/and or calm.

And drinking tea is easier and healthier than taking drugs to induce sleep.

IF it's ok to post a pic of a tea pot OR a watering can I will. A couple of the watering cans are very unique.

I love chamomille tea. Sometimes I use a bag of Mint in with it if I have a upset stomach and am jumpy. It takes care of both things.

I also just acquired a box of Holiday Peppermint tea. I don't really like Peppermint but this one IS delicious with a little honey.

I have had Jasmine tea in restaurants but it seems you can never actually FIND it anywhere to buy. I tried twice and both were just not the same.

I love Jasmine tea. If you ever find out where to buy it, let us know. Peppermint is very good for upset tummys. I like the tast, too.

All my teacups are packed in boxes, because our apartment is so small and we have boys and the dog running around and in and out. Someday, I will have my own place again so I can display my tea cups and pots.
