Well the Royal Commission into the horrific Victorian bushfires is underway at the moment and it seems so sad that no matter how prone Victoria was/is to these massive fires, there just wasn't the processes put in place for a major event like this :( A Department of Sustainability deputy incident controller wrote down in his notebook: "Kinglake needs threat messages ASAP. Confirmation of responsibility. Lack of information and threat messages. CFA in a mess." I guess that says it all huh, the entire communication process was non existent, I still feel for those poor families who are still just at the start of a very long journey to recovery :(
