Come and read about the mistakes that I have found in the new Star Trek 2009 movie. I also give it a short review and why I found it so good.

What did you think of the new actors for the characters, My favorite was Carl Urban as Dr. McCoy. But, then of course I really like Carl Urban. I thought they all did a really good job.

I liked the new actors, they seemed to nail the characters and even made them more appealing and/or understandable. But, as I have mentioned elsewhere, I missed hearing Deforest Kelley's North Carolina accent that softened McCoy's otherwise curmudgeonly character.

Since Star Trek 2009 has been released to DVD, I have watched it several times. I have found three more mistakes in the film. Here they are,

1. After Captain Pike is told by Nero to come over to the Nurada, the Captain asks if anyone has hand-to-hand combat training. Lt. Sulu then raises his hand, and Captain Pike asks him to come along. Kirk, during that scene is behind the Captain, which also places him behind Sulu. He looks up and tells Kirk to come along since he is not supposed to be there anyway, without turning around.

2. After Kirk lands on the left side of the drill, he takes his helmet off and throws it to his left. He then runs to the right side to fight a Romulan who has come up from a hatch in the drill. After Sulu lands it shows Kirk again fighting the Romulan this time using his helmet as a weapon. Their is no way he could have ran back to pick it up and then run back to where the Romulan is standing.

3. After Bones gives Kirk a vaccine to get him on board the Enterprise, Kirk starts to sweat profusely. While they are on board the shuttle, Bones tells Kirk to look at the Enterprise. As Kirk turns to look out the window, his face is completely dry.
