hi i am new to this forum. i was just wondering if anyone out there has had this experience? i had my nose pierced about 1 1/2 year ago and it is not healed yet.i have been back to see a piercer he just told me to keep doing the sea salt soaks and this was about maybe 6 months ago i relly want to save my piercing if i can but is it still possible and what more can i do to help it heal?? p.s. i dont think its infected theres no pain.

My best advice would be to abandon the nose piercing and take out the jewelry.

If you nose hasn't healed in all this time, your body is clearly sending you a message that you should not have this piercing.

oh my lord, that prolly means your body isn't healing right. You may not be feeling any pain but that doesn't mean nothing's wrong. Go see a doctor ASAP hon.

I had the same problem, and didn't heal for a long time. Try a really thin, extremely thin gold wire and thread it though the piercing and twist inside. That's what I did, because from constantly changing the hole got bigger and so the area around the nose got red and sore. But its much better now with a thin hoop and that way I haven't given up on my piecing either. You can still continue the sea salt compressions! Hope it work for you :)
