Sometimes there are shows that are not really sitcoms - for example, dramedies such as Ugly Betty come to mind. A combination of comedy and drama, they don't fit the definition of a Sitcom, but can look very similar.

Another type of show is a sketch comedy where the actors are involved in a number of sketches throughout the show. Saturday Night Live is a sketch comedy show.

A new show you might be interested in premieres on Comedy Central on Wednesday, July 15th at 10:30/9:30c.

The name of the show is Michael and Michael Have Issues. The show is about dueling hosts of a fictitious sketch show, and stars Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter. They are veterans of the skitcoms The State and Stella.

By the looks of Michael and Michael Have Issues , the show sounds like it will be hilarious.

The following may not suit everyone's taste - read at your own risk!
