Ladies, fellow suffers!

I finally found the cure for the chronic fatigue associated with fibro! I won't bore you with my long story, my desperation etc, but the answer is simple. Just take GLUTEN out of your diet! Many of us have a gluten intolerance that we are simply not aware that we have. I always thought you suffered from diarrhoea if you had a gluten intolerance, but not so. The symptoms are legion. I have done further research on the net and a gluten intolerance inflames the gut/intestines which then become more porous than they should be and toxins leach out into the blood stream and start attacking other parts of the body, the autoimmune system in particular.....more to follow.

For some reason I couldn't write anymore in that post, so here is Part 2. I discovered that most diabetics will test positive for a gluten intolerance. The pancreas, which doesn't function properly in diabetics is part of the autoimmune system. Thyroid problems often go hand in hand with diabetes. Again, the thyroid is part of the sutoimmune system. On and on it goes. Go to Google and type in Gluten Intolerance. I was gobsmacked with what I found. Asthma, migraines, joint pain, polymyalgia rheumatica, arthritis are all conditions associated with GI. I have been diabetic for 55 years. Now that I can look back with the benefit of hindsight I can see that I've had fibro since my teens also.

Part 3. This research led me on to Leaky Gut Syndrome which is apparently the origin for all the other health issues.

In my excitement, I forgot to mention that after 2 days gluten free, the CFS had gone completely and I felt alive again! Over the past few weeks, I've had a couple of accidental exposures to gluten again and everytime I have gone straight back to square one with chronic fatigue and feeling like an invalid again. It takes 2 days for me to get back on top again.

I put some links in but unfortunately they don't appear and I don't know how to resolve that issue.

Gluten is found in wheat, oats, barley and rye.

Gluten is a factor in some people, but most should use probiotics for leaky gut and just to protect the stomach from the harsh meds.

Also doing cleansing a detoxing is helpful.

I have to admit that my cynical and suspicious nature kinda perks up when I see the word "Cure".

As a long-term fibro person or whatever, I am a lot more amenable to words such as "helpful" or "Relief".

I don't mean to sound negative, really! I guess I've encountered too many miracle cures over the years.
