have been married to hubby for 6 years, he has two kids who were 3 and 9 when we met. They tell him that they don't want to come here because I'm so hard on them. Like I make them eat veggies (the 15 year old weighs 235LBS!). I taught these kids to ride bikes, tie their shoes, whipe their bums, sleep without wetting the bed and they don't care if I am here or not. They call and never want to speak to me or could care less if I kiss them good night. Now I could think that I am just a [censored] mother, but when they are at their mother's house they start fires in the home and run completely out of controll and she doesn't seem to care. They eat pie for dinner or whatever they want because they are alone most of the time. My daughter is over 18 and doesn't live here, so it isn't anything to do with other step kids... What can I do? Hubby backs me up on everything I say and do, but hubby doesn't correct the kids EVER, unless it is out of control.
