I would like to Know How to Grow and treat Roses. Because Iam trying to build a Rose garden. some of my roses bloom but not all of them.is it normal for a rose to look dead? Because I have three that look that way. I don't know what iam doing wrong. I read about them. So if you can help I would really be greatful. thanks Miss Muffet

Hello Miss Muffet,

There can be any number of issues that are keeping your roses from blooming. Roses need full morning sun. At least 6 hours of sun a day is ideal. They need their soil to be moist, but not soggy. When the top inch of soil feels dry, water the rose at the base of the plant trying to keep the leaves dry. Dry leaves help prevent fungal diseases.
