There is now at least one free 6-point afghan pattern available on the internet. I just googled and found this:
Crochetville 6-pt afghan

I found another a week or two ago, just like the pic posted previously, but of course I can't find it at the tip of my fingertips (I work off 3 computers .... sheesh).

Nothing like replying after the fact, but I'm just now reading these posts. The pattern for the afghan pictured above can be found at the Annie's Attic site for $5.99. I read somewhere that it was so much in demand that they decided to bring it back. Gail in Va Beach

mother hen! Long time no see! If you recall, you sent me a copy of a 6-point to 24-point afghan a couple of years ago. If you'll let me know your email, I can send the copy right back to you.

Hi everyone - I am new here but like you, love to crochet. I am expecting my first granddaughter in September and am so excited. I would dearly love to make this 6 pointed star ripple afghan for the shower - ambitious considering I work and am the caregiver for my 87 year old mother - but I am woman!! I can do it. Well, I could try and do it if I can find the pattern. Mother Hen do you have the pattern? It is absolutely beautiful. I do have a lot of patterns I could exchange - I already made the repple baby layette set from Annie's Attic and it is beautiful - I also have the Cathedral Window pattern and would be willing to exchange or find something else maybe you could use. Can you or anyone else please, please help me. This is a wonderful site - so glad I found it - looking forward to some wonderful e-mails. Mary Matheney - Thank you everyone

Mother Hen - Dorothy - thank you so very, very much for sharing the pattern with me. Can't wait to get to the stores to buy more yarn - just what I need is more yarn!!! By the way, love my crochet hook that lights up - now I can crochet and not disturb my husband while watching TV - such clever people out there. Thank you again - this site is awesome - Mary

Hi I'm Bev and new to the site I would love to have the Six Point Star Afghan Pattern. I have all types of patterns I could trade with anyone that has the pattern and would be willing to share it with me. I may just have one that they may have been looking for. Even if you don't have this pattern I am still willing to share patterns. Thanks
