I tend to be a setting freak. A lot about what I like the most about some games - L5R, Exalted, Fading Suns - beautiful settings.
I own nearly every L5R book ever published for Legend of the Five Rings by Alderac, though I don't have some of the newer ones yet. The pre-Clan War era is my absolute favorite setting of all time, and I have converted people who have despised oriental settings by convincing people to read Bearers of Jade. I'm not the only one who believes it to be the finest RPG supplement ever written. Too bad it's out of print : /
My second favorite RPG of all time has to go to Exalted by White Wolf. Have most of these books, as well. I have a thing for epic, as a general rule, and Exalted is that plus the kitchen sink.
My third favorite is probably Shadowrun. The metaplot is beginning to date itself a bit like CP 2020 has, but that's hard to avoid when you are writing about the near future. Dark heroism and wicked fun.
Big Eyes Small Mouth for #4 for me. I'm not an anime fan per se, but I can enjoy it and it's a good simple game for introducing people into roleplaying with. I think it's main flaw is that it can be difficult to get around the anime mindset some people have when playing it, when you want to be more realistic.
I of course have played my share of Dungeons and Dragons from the red-blue-green-black-gold box sets to 3.5. I suppose 3.5 would be #5, I was thinking about starting up an OD&D game but was left scratching my head at some of the rules. A bit dated...
I also have way too many 7th Sea, GURPS (3rd & 4th) and World of Darkness books, and a bunch of one offs - Paranoia, Call of Cthulhu, Feng Shui ("Geomantically trained ninja interior decorating squad!"), Fading Suns (Brilliant setting, and some clever mechanics), In Nomine, a bunch of others I forget >_>
Err. And I'm new. Hi : )
