Great article, maybe next time my turtles lay eggs I might have better luck with them, they have always collapsed

Hi, Feydragon, thanks. I know what you mean. The reptile eggs are so soft that they can collapse very easily. Of the five that my turtle laid, one had already completely collapsed and another had a big dent in it. It has since developed mold which is never a promising sign. But the three that I have left seem to be doing fine. I think I got lucky with them. I'll find out in about three weeks if they're going to hatch or not!

What kind of set-up do you have for your turtle? Do you have any pics you can post?

I keep them outside in the back yard, and usually I have them in a fenced habitat so that I can mow the lawn and so forth without worrying about where they are. Here's an image: I've got more here at my website.
