Thanks to everyone for being here and contributing to this forum, and I wish you all a Happy Easter! Make sure to eat an egg for me, if you can find one, ok?

Thanks

It depends on what the job is. We had new siding and windows put in and for sure we are not qualified to do that!

We had a basement in our other home. My husband installed a wet-bar, cabinets, mirrors, stuccoed the walls, and installed Z-brick. He also put in boards that he stained dark. The room was in the Tudor style.

About a year ago, the little thingy in the toilet broke (see my technical jargon smile?) I went to the hardware store and the man told me to replace it would only take 15 minutes. He explained what I needed to do, so I bought the piece and went home secure in the knowledge that I COULD DO IT.
I arrived home and started to work on fixing the 15 minute toilet job...well 8 hours later mad after having flooded the entire upstairs bathroom (he left out the part about turning off the water...I guess I was supposed to KNOW that blush)...I finally had it fixed enough for me to go ahead and call the plumber.
