Today's Journaling Prompt has been posted - "I didn't realize that we had this, until I started researching this article, but May is the Better Hearing and Speech Month. Wow - what a thought provoking thing to think about. In what ways do you need to better what you listen to? In what ways do you need to better what you speak?"

I like challenging myself to a better way of thinking and sometimes that includes speech and hearing - what we choose to take in, and what we choose to share with others. Thoughts?

Hey, it's way, way past May, but a thought struck me regarding speech... hearing... and journal-writing. I'm wondering if our journal-writing may-if we let it, that is- make us a bit better at listening, even if it's only for purely selfish reasons, like wanting to be able to capture a moment later.

Gotta think on this one a bit.

Yes definitely I think the more you are planning to capture your thoughts, the more you pay attention to the world around you. I think that is a wonderful benefit of journaling!

Journaling has so many benefits and positive aspects, doesn't it?

I may have to write out a list of why I love it so...

...hey, there's a thread! laugh
