in the third diaz mission the fastest boat i drive to the docks and drive in i run over some of the people and go to the small room where the swicth is i pull the switch but people are killing me do i have to kill them all then when i killed them all jump in the boat help do i need to kill all the peolpe

I drove up there then i sniped the guards then i threw a grenade in with the dudes by the controls then i flipped the switch then i killed eveyone coming at me. So yes you need to kill them all.

i basically walked in with the Python pistol(one shot one kill) and took most everyone out. actually, any automatic weapon will do. the guys in the boat house only have hammers, so there's not much of a threat there. after you hit the switch, wait a couple seconds for the guys outside to come in the doorway and cap 'em. then go get in the boat(you dont have to jump in, just push triangle). its cake after that.

I found it to be much easier to just drive all the way to the switch, jump out and into the pink cloud, jump right back into the car and drive down to the dock, jump out and run to the boat and take off. I didn't shoot anyone. You'll take a couple of hits, but if you have armor and full health, you'll be fine. Hit the gas in the boat, arc to the right towards the pink icon on your map, and watch out for the harbor patrol.
