Today is Yom HaZikaron, Israel Memorial Day for Soldiers and Victims of Terror.
Unlike the United States, in Israel - Memorial Day is fully embraced by everyone. The sound of a siren causes everyone to stop in their tracks - stop their cars, come out of their stores, and pause conversations.
It is inspiration for our Memorial Day which is coming up - to put the BBQ's on hold and do something to pay tribute to the soldiers who have fought for our country.
