Hey i know this sounds like i suck at ff games but final fantasy is in my blood lol. I need some help on ffx. How the heck do i beat seymour at macalania. I know i am not very far and i think that its probably because my characters suck. But can anyone give me some help here? Please. i need it really bad. ((not just on the game either)) Well if you can give me some tips that would be cool and i would appriciate it alot thanx alot bye!

Hmmm... good question, im not sure i died on any boss throughout the game except for the god dam monter arena bosses... my advise is to go lvl up a bit, and take note of what seymour uses if he casts statuses get an armor customised to stop the problem... although i don't think i did anything special. Just have an aeon come out when that ****ing minerva thing does it's big attack.

Find a place with monsters and walk back and forth for about 3 days doing nothing but fighting monsters and healing eventually your chars will get better. If this doesn't work take up playing pokemon. Stupid arena gotta catch'm all. <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

ERR Seymour is a piece of [censored], he throws predictable spells so you can Null them since you know them in advance, and just use Rikku to Steal off of the two Guado weaklings, so they can't Auto-Heal anymore, and when Anima comes in just rocket out your grand summon and/or have the overdrives prepared, Shiva usually does the trick with Anima, 2 overdrives and that's that. Now this is where that stupid Seymour gets vicious with his spells, but keep Nulling/Attacking, or just call in another aeon and blast the [censored] out of him <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

On the two guado's who are nothing but [censored] healers just take them out with your guys ignoring seymour (unless he does something drastic) ((to bad we don't have reflect yet :rolleyes: :rolleyes: )) But twhen the two guys are down, focus on seymour then when he calls Anima use Shiva until his overdrive gets filled up, then put shiva's shield up and his attack does like.. 281 around there. Then just use blizzard or blizzaga or whatever she has until your healthy again. Took me twice to beat this guy, he's a sench compared to the last seymour you gotta fight, inside sin and the seymour on Mt Gagazet, on yeah the seymour in Bevelle. Why can't he just DIE!?!? <img src="/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

BlackDove...you said that you can steal the guado's healing magic??? I didn't know that was possible???

And about Seymour...you can beat him really easy with Null-spells, when he summons Anima just call Shiva (No grand summon, not yet) and first just fight till your almost dead, he should have lost lots of HP by then and then cast Blizzara on yourself and do your overdrive...not dead yet probably well then just give him little damage everytime to get your overdrive filled up because you then can have overkill. Now dismiss Shiva and call her in grand summon, Diamond Dust and he overkill <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> !!!

Thanks everyone. I just think its because my people are weak. Well im gunna go back to ff7 for a while((its my fav)) then i will try your guys techs but until then thanks for the help.

start off and have tidus talk and get his strength up, steal from the guado guardians, then use tiduses overdrive on the guardians untill u kill them, use yunas null spells, atack seymour till he summons anima, now summon ur new aeon and charge up her overdrive then use it and work down anima till hes dead

now use kimaris self destruct and this should finis h him off u get it by using lancet on a bomb

Heres what I did: Formation was Rikku, Tidus, and Auron. Rikku had full overdrive going into the battle. I mixed an artic wind (steal from ice flan) and a lunar curtain (steal from crawler). I got super mighty G, which casts regen, haste, protect and shell on the whole party. Then I talked to seymour with tidus. After I talked to him I was doing about 1500 damage a hit. Switch rikku with Yuna. Then have yuna cast nul spells. Keep hitting with tidus and auron until seymour and guardians are dead. He'll call anima. Summon ???? soon to be known as Shiva. Hit with Phsical atrtacks and heal yourself with blizzara. When u have overdrive, use it. After shiva dies, keep throwing aeons at him. After seymour dismisses anima, let everyone except tidus or auron (depending on who has higher HP, usually auron) die. Make sure you have 20+ high potions. When you only have 1 character, seymour wont use multi spells. Keep hitting him then using a high potion till seymours dead. Then watch a clip. Youll see seymour again soon enough.
