What tea is tickling your fancy in April?
Right now I'm drinking Celestial Seasonings Honey-Chamomile. I like this blend a lot. It's a nice relaxing evening tea for me.

I have a funny story about chamomile tea. Well, I guess you might not want to read this if you are actually drinking chamomile tea right now. Anyway, my mother told me a story about when I was a baby. I had a bad tummy and was crying. My grandmother suggested she make some chamomile tea and let me sip it from my bottle. She said that would settle my stomach. So mom made some chamomile tea and I sipped it and it did settle my stomach but not in the way you think. My mom said that the moment the tea got to my stomach it came back up. Ha! Years later I was making some - yes- Celestial Seasonings mixed tea and as soon as I smelled it I knew I could not drink it. It just smelled funny to me and made my stomach queezy. I read the label and found chamomile was one of the ingredients.
I have found a new brand of black tea that I like very much. It is Stewart's tea. Yum!!! Black tea, well brewed with boiling water in a china cup, ahhhhh. There's nothing better.

Wow that is odd! Maybe you're allergic to chamomile for some reason!
I accidentally bought a bunch of boxes of chamomile (straight chamomile) from Amazon when I meant to buy just one. I'm not that fond of the straight variety, but it gets tasty when you add in some local honey. So I do that occasionally. It's easier to just use the pre-mixed Celestial Seasonings version though.
Both of those are my "sleepy time teas" to sip before I go to bed. They help me unwind and relax.

Lisa, I love the calming effects of chamomile, and I too often drink this when I want to unwind and before bed too. I had in my research papers somewhere that it was okay to give chamomile to children. I have an adversion to eggs, when I was preg. w/my 1st child I could not eat an egg, now I do get revolted even if I cook them and eat them cooked! It's only in my mind! Mary cAliendo

I love chocolate tea! Chocolate is my passion and I love a small square melted in my tea -- usually an Earl Grey.

I forgot to add I also enjoy a scant teaspoon of strawberry jam stirred into my jasmine tea sometimes.

Sheryl, you sound like the English and Russian, they too, put a tiny bit of jam into their tea as well. It sounds good. I like the chocolate thing, I will try this and let you know how I like it. Thanks for sharing!

I've never tried jam in my tea - only honey! I'll have to think about that!

Lately I have been drinking Jasmin Phoenix Pearls for my morning cup of tea, South African Rooibos Tea for my afternoon tea, Peppermint or Chamomile for my evening Tea - all are loose teas available at Tevanna. I just love that store.

I just poured some pomegranate raspberry tea from Stash - before I realized it was a green tea (i.e. caffeine). Ooops! It is tasty thought Nice berry - fresh flavors. We'll see how the caffeine hits me!
