As much as I root for it to be Nikki --
Could it be ESTHER????
That would really gripe Jill.

When Katherine hugged Nikki yesterday and said, "You're just like a daughter to me," I wondered if that was a hint from the writers. The look on Katherine's face and then the fade-out...

I don't know Esther's history - where did she come from and how did she end up Katherine's maid?

Jill or Nikki is my guess. They have budget cuts, so they can't add anyone new to the show. I wonder what is going to happen to Sharon... Mattie

Since Guiding Light is going off the air, I wonder who will be next? I liked that Y&R still seemed to have a full cast, despite budget cuts, unlike GL, which really skinnied down the cast and forced everyone to take a pay cut.

Besides Nikki and Esther, Sharon's mother would be my third choice as Katherine's daughter. All of a sudden, they've been bringing her back on. Sheryl - Daisybun
