I just posted my new article "Armour Thyroid Medication Always Superior?" so that the link for it is in this week's newsletter, on the subject of Armour Thyroid brand hormone replacement and whether it is superior to other brands in all cases.
It's a controversial subject but hopefully I addressed it in-balance.
Take a look at it and feel free to make comments on the subject, here's the article-link>

I am new to this forum, but have suffered for 19 years with thyroid problems. I am not even able to work. I am on Armour and cytamel. Many doctors have tried all kinds of dosage variations, but I have never been ok. Initially I got a quick diagnosis of Graves due to radiation on the thymus as a baby...common in Chicago. I am desperate and will have to sell my house because no one can fix this. I keep being told my numbers are ok. I was on a generic synthroid for a long time and think that was part of the problem Got a lift from the cytamel and then the armour. I tried 6 depression meds but none did much. I have no initiative although I have a rare day when I feel like a normal person. No explanation why. Right now I am definitely laying around . It took me days to be able to get to the drugstore. I am in year 19. Have done acupuncture, Chines Medicine, homeopathy, Mayo Clinic, any number of endos..my current new one doesn't believe in Armour and keeps telling me cytamel is old medicine!!!She doesn't believe in it, but I do. Does anyone have a suggestion. I am thinking of trying anxiety medicine. Two endos have told me that the problem is no longer thyroid. Any suggestions for successful Chicago docs to try. I've had about 23 of various kinds and am at my witsend

Do you have copies of your labs? If not, get them so you can have them when you try another doctor.
I'm not hypo but there's this doctor in Southbend, Donald Michael, whom people have raved about. Haven't been on the same board as the ones he's checked into for years so don't know what's up with him but maybe someone here knows more.

Good luck!
