My CAG Jewel is doing great. She hasn't had her wings clipped in about 3 years now and is finally starting to take a few short flights around the house.

How is everyone else's birds?

Last time I was active on Bella I discovered an announcement for a parrot symposium in Sarasota, last September. I went and had an absolutely amazing weekend. I got to meet Sally Blanchard and have become a great fan. I have two cockatiels, Eby and Amy, and a Sun Conure, Pete. I am currently in the process of compiling a book of short stories and photos of people and their parrots. Lots of people want to share their stories, but it's hard to get them to write it down and email it to me! Life and parronting get in the way I suppose!

Hi Mavis. I'm finally starting to learn this site. Thank you very much for adding the picture of my Samson. He's such a bad bird!!! I love him though. I posted a picture of Samson and me someplace on this site, and can't find it now. It was taken a few years ago in Fulton, NY.

I wonder if you posted the picture in the Rate the Photo Kathy.

I checked and there we were at Rate the Photo under birds! He looks sooooo sweet, but the monster will bite in a heartbeat, then say "pretty baby bird". Now that's rotten! Smiles, Kathy
