For those that remember what the KGB was like during the cold war and how ruthless and terrible they were, should we be worried that the Russian leader, Dmitry Medvedev, was pleased with the results of the G20 summitt where Barack announced that he was disarming the US of nuclear weapons and that Russia said they would do the same?
Do we really believe that Russia and China will disarm?
Less than a year ago, we watched Russia invade Georgia- an asspiring capitalist country- and then blamed Georgia for instigating it. Obama repeated Russia's message and said Georgia needs to stop what it is doing to provoke Russia.
He looked like an idiot when he changed his message less than 4 days later to that of those paying attention, "Stop the invasion, Russia."
Also, we have Russia "insisting" that we halt the missle DEFENSE system in Europe or they will consider it an act of war.
Also, Russian subs have been spotted of the coast of Cuba.
Also, Russia has been supporting, with technology, the insane Iranian leader who held a conference that decided the holocoust never happened and that Israel will be blown up when he gets his nukes.
Also, and this is the latest, to the North, in the Arctic Circle, Russia is sending military up there to protect their intrests in natural resources. Worst case scenario- and laugh at this if you want, but then ask yourself why it couldn't be happening- is that Russia will move its forces in and claim Alaska for its own.
Regan once said, "Trust, but Verify." There is no verification being done by this government of Russia right now.
