Hey everyone!

I was just wondering if anyone had any hints or tips on getting the Venus Sigil or the Sun Sigil. I mean, I know the jest of what it is I have to do, but I was wondering if (through practice and experience) if anyone found any ways to make the job easier and less tedious? I've been going at these two quests for hours! The Sun Sigil one just makes me incredibly angry (and makes me want to throw rocks at birds, ha!!), but oh man the lightning strikes! I got up to 82 strikes before my nerves were shot! Are there any exact places in the Thunder Plains that are good for dodging? I doubt there's much you can do to make the job easier on the Chocobo Race, so I'll just follow the walkthrough on that one. Any hints or advice would be very, very much appreciated.

Thank you for any help you can give!!!

These are the hardest ones to get (that's what I thought). Lulu's can be very annoying (especially when you have dodged almost 200 bolts and suddenly you lose concentration and get hit by one ). Just keeping trying, find a spot where the lightning bolts are frequent (there is a map here http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/ps2/file/final_fantasy_x_thunder_plains.txt which you might find helpful). Keep dodging those bolts!

The sun sigil.... ....I hate those sea birds...whenever I see sea birds now I chase them and scare them. This is an annoying race. I don't really have any tips on this one. Just keep trying, it took me a few hours until I finally got it. It is worth it !

Real love is feeling like being a part of that person's life almost isn't enough. It's more like a feeling that you would live in the same skin with them if you could and share every thought, heart beat, and emotion as one. - Rod Cannon

have one of our characters equip an armor with "no encounter"... keep ur eyes wide open, lock ur doors, get ur little brother (if u have one) tied up in a corner and tape his mouth, and don't make any sudden movements... this should help u not getting distracted...

alotta pipol have done this, so u will, i have faith in u!!!

Hey!! Thanks for the advice!! I finally did it!! It took me 3 hours of me staring at the TV. I got up to 188 once and then whammo, got distracted when my brother yelled my name from across the house. For about 3 seconds, I thought I was going to rip his head off. I saw RED. Whew. I'm glad that's over. Now I can continue with the Sun Sigil. I got down to 4 seconds. I hope I can get it today. Then I have the Jupiter Sigil (I put that one last because while I like blitzball, the games last forever!!) ... I think maybe I'll tackle the Omega Ruins instead.
