Has anyone read this book? It was so good! The heroine's parents made me so mad! They were so frustrating... and so funny at the same time. I don't want to spoil any surprises for anyone. I hate when people post spoilers. But trust me, this book is a keeper. Loved it. I'd love to get some recommendations of other authors who write like Susan Mallery. I want funny and emotional stories with characters who feel like real people. No serial killers, please!

Have you read Sherryl Woods yet? She writes the same sort of stories.

Elizabeth, thanks for the recommendation! I haven't tried Sherryl Woods yet. For some reason, I had the impression that she wrote suspense, which is not my thing. Maybe because she has the last name as Stuart Woods? I don't know. My brain works in wacky ways sometimes. If she writes funny, homey stories like Susan Mallery, then I definitely want to pick up one of her books. Can you recommend a favorite?

By the way, why is the little smiley face guy sticking out his tongue on this discussion? I didn't do that... at least, I don't think I did. :)

Hey, I wanted to thank you again for recommending Sherryl Woods. I just finished reading The Inn at Eagle Point, and I LOOOOVED it! I love when I "discover" a new author. Especially one who writes series. I love series because I think the world the characters live in feels so much richer and multi-dimensional. I've already pre-ordered the next two books in the series.

I'm glad you liked her. If you preordered, you ought to have the second one tomorrow. <g>
