Hello it's been a while since I posted. I wonder if anyone could tell me what is an earth angel?

I had a reading and I was told that I am one. I've always wanted to help people and am very sensitive. The reason I went for a reading is because lately I don't understand my feelings. If I'm an earth angel why am I so resentful of humans right now? It's been building and I'm ashamed to say I spend a great deal of my time anymore shaking my head. I want to get back to where I was, but each day, no matter how much I look for the good, I am lost for a purpose in being here. People have such disregard for life even if they put on a front if they bother to do that people seem crazy anymore. Am I getting ready to leave earth? Is there something i'm not seeing? Maybe I dn't understand earth angels. Thanks for letting me express myself.

Why do you think you aren't an earth angel? Just because you have less-than-perfect feelings?

People have unrealistic ideas of what an angel is. Angels aren't perfect beings. We tend to hold onto a "Hollywood movie" type of image about angels. There are lots of types of angels, too. Not all are good even. But most basically are.

As an "earth" angel, you have a special spirit in a human body with a special role to fulfill. You're human like all of us here. It's just that you can play a special role to assist others.

Your sensitivity is a gift to use. Your urge to help people is a clue to your role.

Your frustration with people isn't uncommon. It's easy to become impatient with them because they lack the insight you have regarding life and the eternities. But you should be able to tap into your compassion and love for them in order to help them.

Here's some advice: Relax. Stress clouds your intuition. Refrain from judging people. It blocks the love you can feel for them. Love is the power you need to tap within yourself.

Instead of searching for "purpose", let yourself follow your natural desires and urgings (this is your calling.) If you feel like you want to go into nursing, for example, enroll in nursing school. If you want to help children, take the opportunities that come up regarding children. Volunteer, etc.

You'll be surprised to see that your path will open up to you naturally, with little effort.

There are many ways you will help others. They will avail themselves to you. You don't have to set out to find them. Perhaps you will help people in your own family or circle of friends. Maybe a co-worker or classmate. Even someone on a forum board.

Just live your life and you will help many others along your journey. Share your life, share your love and in this way, you sow seeds to hope that will blossom in the hearts of others.

Another point may be you are an earth angel, but your biggest impact may be in the the way you live your life, the influence it has on others, the example it sets and the resulting inspiration.

One can never underestimate the influence we have through merely how we live our lives, and respond with love and compassion to others. Helping others is not always through direct action(s). How can we possibly and fully grasp the outcome of a simple act of kindness, anonimous or otherwise? We can only continue to sow those good seeds and have faith some will land on furtile ground.

Friendlygirl is right. Follow your path and don't get side tracked or distracted with the frustrations, gloom and doom. This period of tribulation could be a test of your mettle, or a jerk back to the right path. So stay true, surround yourself with positivity, and go with your gut instincts.

contrary to what a lot of people might think, the Earth Angel's job is quite challenging. I'm glad you found this site. I've found a great deal of the people I've met through it are Earth Angels and can empathize with what you're feeling.

The next article here will be on this specific topic. I've had half a dozen people email me just in these past couple of weeks, so, others are "feeling" it too. Many of the comments are similar to yours.

Your question about what an Earth Angel is, in my opinion is a person who feels compelled up until their last dying breath to serve and aid mankind. They are extremely empathetic and often endure the greatest of self-sacrifices. They often run the risk of finding co-dependent relationships though, as they never feel they can leave a person helpless.

I've met Many Earth Angels who tell me they feel something is wrong with them because they feel distracted by subject matters outside of the norm. Some even find little desire for romantic relationships or struggled at one time or another as to whether or not to join a Holy order.

One of the most difficult things, I can say that I've personally come upon is this. Though people may say and even feel anquish over wanting change in their lives, that is not the same as actually being ready to act on the changes that will benefit them in order to bring about those changes. Because an Earth Angel won't want to "abandon" a person or people in general, often they are the ones who see and feel first hand, this pain again and again. Often this can lead to resentment or the feeling of redundancy.

It's a blessing, though, you found your way to a group of people who have experienced many of these things and can share helpful advice and support while you continue your path.

Are Earth Angels the same thing as Light Workers? Or are they two different entities?

"Light Workers" are people who help the departed find their way to peace and their own perspective of Heaven - they mainly help children. They also are healers. I knew one Light Worker and she was a kind and gentle soul. I used to go to her for help with horrific headaches I suffered from and she healed me from that.

Earth Angels have been among us for generations, centuries, from the beginning of time even. There are more now than ever on Earth and are here to help people in many different ways. Guardian Angels help us spiritually, Earth Angels help us in ways we understand in our physical existence.

It seems as if you could intertwine the two terms really. We have so many different terms these days on top of those as well. The thing that seems to distinquish them, from my point of view is a feeling and the statements I hear coming from these individuals...they're the same over and over.

But the people who consider themselves Earth Angels, I have to say carry a distinctive quality. there really feels to be an ethereal quality about them, an innocense yet perceptiveness. They have visions and feel drawn to religious doctrines of all kinds. Their eyes seem to engulf the person infront of them or humanity as a whole - they look or gaze off into the distance as if in deep contemplation.

Both Lightworkers and Earth Angels have this innate desire to service mankind. Both, when you come across them, seem to have an essence or wisdom or both that exceed age in years yet project infinate youth at heart. Both have a mystical, healing and loving quality about them that's really difficult to put into words. If you are lucky enough to cross path's with one, no matter how much time has passed, it could be 3, 5, 10 years, you pick right up with them as if it were yesterday. Often you will feel immediately at peace and even find yourself feeling sleepy around them - not in a bored fashion though, more a serenity...

There's also a "calling" both types of people talk about. Something they've known since they can remember or childhood at least. They've always felt "different", separated from their peers to some extent. They are intriguing Souls and often keep this aspect of themselves hidden from the public. They don't like to brag.

One thing is for absolute certain. When you cross paths with either, you'll never, not ever forget them
