Hi,
How can you defend against Seymor Flux's Total Annihilation attack? It's hard first of all cause I don't have grand protect and I'm not sure where a behemoth is to lancet it. I've already fought the Ronsos. So, how do you beat this guy? I get so close, but then he just annihilates me. Thanks for your help

Cast Hastega on everyone. Seymour will use Lance Of Atrophy to inflict you with Zombie, then he'll use Full-Life or Curaga to hurt you, but just use a holy water before he attacks again. Make sure you don't let Mortiorchis use the Total Annihilation attack, you will most likely die,put in your aeons to protect you. Use all of your aeons overdrives and pay Yojimbo money and pray that he'll use Zanmato. If Seymour still has HP left after this, use your party members overdrives to finish Mortiorchis and Seymour off.

Or when he's ready to do his "Total Annihilation" use Kimahri's "Mighty Guard" Or one of Rikku's mixes for "Mighty Guard".

What worked for me was:

Have overdrives for everything (aeons and characters), but don't use them early on in the fight. Knock him down to about 30,000/40,000 HP without them, then start to hammer him with everything you have at 30,000. Apparently the slower you lower his HP to 30,000 (when he can use 'total annihilation'), the slower he is to use it. This sounds strange but it worked for me, give it a try.
